'THIRST OF PEACE'

Remove disturbing lines from the real life,
Drawn by anti peace human beings,
Who like wars and brutality,
Because these lines are disturbiing,
Peaceful human beings,
Who likes peace and love.....

To make this world,
A place of love and peace,
Where everyone have equal rights to live,
Where no wars and no weapons,
No hates and no jealousies,
Where no murders and no ransoms,
No boundaries and no worries,
So, add your drop of thirst for peace,
In the ocean of peace and love.....

May be your drop of thirst,
For the peace and love,
May give us a new morning,
A new morning,
To change the world,
And the humanity of human beings,
May become alive,
And they think for the peace and love,
And your thirst of peace,
May won the hearts of all humanity......

Aamir Khatri

Thanks for viewing my profile. I was born in Karachi in 1968. Like most artists, I have been painting and drawing since childhood. I am science Graduate and a self-taught artist, I can say that my art have my own identity. I also took advices from famous Pakistani artist Iqbal Mehdi. He was very happy with my series 'TIGERS'.
Professionally, I am a Textile & Fashion Designer and I am working in a Home Textile products manufacturing industry in Karachi. You can see my art profile.

'A MESSAGE THROUGH CONFESSION' [1997]

'A message through confession' was my first SOLO exhibition. Miss Aliya Tamkeen wrote about this exhibition in her kind words, she wrote:

'The early death of his father deprived him of education even in Art-School and had to earn bread and butter, through Graphic Designing of Garment Labels and now he is running a printing press. His friend Aamir Hameed introduced him to Artist Iqbal Mehdi whom he showed his work on wild life. Tigers were his fancy and Iqbal Mehdi aptly advised him to stick up to tigers as his forte. Aamir take delight in water colour both transparent and opaque. He experimented on subjects like portraiture, landscaping, abstract, impressionism etc. but wild life is still in his liking.

He as junior artist participated in a number of group shows at many renowned art galleries. His first Exhibition at Art Council Karachi was at the behest of Iqbal Mehdi in the year 1986, followed by Pakistan National Council of Arts, Islamabad, Galerie Sadequain, Karachi, Art Collectors Gallery, Karachi.
